CF Gymnastics
CF Aerobic Capacity
Fitness and athletics has always been an important part of my life. My mom enrolled me in gymnastics at 3 years old when I started flipping off the furniture. I was a competitive gymnast through college, when I retired from competing and began my coaching journey. After several years of coaching gymnastics full time, I moved into the corporate world where I specialized in reviewing and standardizing operational procedures and training my coworkers on how to succeed in their roles (sounds a lot like coaching!). During that time, I found CrossFit and was instantly hooked. It was the fun and challenging workouts that I craved that was reminiscent of my days training gymnastics. Within the first 6 months, I got my Level 1 and started working part time as a CrossFit coach.
While I’ve been a part time CF coach for the past 10 years, it wasn’t until I was laid off from my corporate role in 2023 that I considered going back into coaching full time. PXM was introduced to me by a teammate on my rugby team. I was drawn in by the community and Senad and Lamont’s vision of fitness and for the future of PXM. It was a role that combined my passion for fitness and coaching where I could utilize the skills and experience from my corporate careers.
I love coaching because I love helping others be successful. While I have experienced a lot of success in my own competitive career, watching athletes I have coached achieve success has always been more rewarding. I love the process of breaking down complex skills into their parts and helping members understand how to move efficiently and feel stronger and healthier.
